Decide how many cups of coffee you wish to brew. There is a difference between a cup of coffee and an actual measuring cup. A measuring cup is eight ounces and a typical coffee cup is about six ounces. You should use around 2 TBS of coffee in this 6 oz of water. Using a measuring cup will result in a watered down brew.
